HORNWORMS
(Manduca Sexta)
Manduca Sexta, commonly known as Hornworms, are soft-bodied and will not bite, making them ideal food for most animals. In addition, their bright green colour often triggers an immediate feeding response. Under proper conditions, hornworms often grow to be huge in length and girth. They can also be fed at any size.
Manduca Sexta will moth easily. The crystalline structure of a cocoon is a must see and is great for educational studies. The resulting Hawk Moth is equally fascinating and huge in size.

Note: As with any species, do not feed an exclusive diet of only one insect. In the wild, all animals that feed on insects will eat 50 or more varieties, giving the animal a varied vitamin and mineral intake. As pet owners or breeders, we must approximate the feeding habits and the best way to do this is by feeding an exotic mix of bugs.
